Hong Kong Blind Union joins hands with the Lee Kum Kee Family Foundation to promote a collaborating project “Spending Quality Time with Family” by launching an audio drama script writing competition “Showing Love by Voice”. The competition, with the theme of “Spending Quality Time with Family”, aims at rekindling people’s valuable memories with family and promoting social inclusion. The public will be invited to submit a touching script for the competition and share their own valuable memories with family. Three winners will be selected and the winning scripts will be produced as audio play by visually impaired persons and celebrities, and broadcast at “The Blind Union Voice”, an audio magazine produced and managed by visually impaired members of Hong Kong Blind Union.

Theme: “Spending quality time with family
Entry format: Word or accessible PDF format.
Entry requirement:
1. The script should be written in Chinese and with a word limit of at least 2000 and no more than 3000 words (punctuations are not included). All entries must be in the form of an audio drama script which include elements such as characters, scenes, descriptions of sound effects and screens etc.
2. Each participant can only submit one entry.
3. All entries should be originally written by the participants and have not been publicized, published or submitted to any other competitions. If plagiarism is found, participants will be disqualified.
