This project recruits professionals from multi-disciplinary backgrounds who can work with trans-generational families. This project also provides family therapy, professional training to promote family health, promotes family relationships in trans-generational families and brings awareness of the importance of maximizing the potential and strength of each generation in the trans-generational network.

Purpose of “Join the Club”

Establish a professionals’ community who share a common interest in working with trans-generational families.

Promote trans-generational relationship in a fun and relaxing way.

Share updated resources about the education of trans-generational relationships to the professionals and public sectors.
Benefits for the Club members

Priority to attend trainings and events organized by the Trans-generational Center.

Accessibility to the Center’s clinical and teaching resources, e.g. education booklets and videos for public education (special arrangements required).

Case consultation and clinical support for program development in relation to trans-generational issues will be available if required.

Ambassador training program
Objectives:

To promote the awareness of trans-generational perspectives in understanding the dynamics of family relationships by different healthcare professionals

To enhance the understanding of trans-generational approach in working with families in different service settings
-
To train professionals from multidisciplinary backgrounds to be the ambassadors in their home agencies or institutions
The Trans-generation Center will design ambassador training courses tailor-made for the collaborating organizations. Interested parties are welcome to contact the Program Director of Trans-generation Center, AAFT.
